La Pinta

One of the most famous ships in maritime history. La Pinta was a caravel and one of the three ships in which Chistopher Columbus sailed to discover the New World in October 1492. La Pinta, the fastest of the three ships was the one that brought the news back to the Old World of the momentous discovery docking ere at Baiona in 1493.
